The ECG Quiz User Privileges

User privileges and available features in The ECG Quiz depend on the user's User Type. There are five User Types defined in The ECG Quiz. This page describes each User Type along with its respective associated privileges.

We also have a graphical summary of user privileges.

Anonymous Users

Anonymous Users are those users that have not created an account on The ECG Quiz site. Anonymous Users have access to a limited set of features on the site that include:

  • Explore a smaller ECG library to get a feel for The ECG Quiz experience.
  • See how your performance stacks up on a shared dashboard with results from all anonymous users.
  • Learn at a comfortable pace with all ECGs assessed at the Beginning Learner level.

Registered Users

Registered Users are those that have created a free account on the ECG Quiz site, but have not paid to subscribe or joined an Organization that has subscribed to The ECG Quiz. Registered Users have access to the following set of features on the site:

  • Explore an expanded library of ECGs beyond what anonymous users can view.
  • Track your progress through a private, personalized dashboard.
  • Monitor your development with performance trend graphs for active data.
  • Submit your ECGs for inclusion in the quiz.
  • Challenge interpretations to help refine accuracy and understanding.
  • Join lively discussions in dedicated online forums.
  • Share insights and read comments on specific ECGs.
  • Set the expertise level at which your ECG interpretations are assessed.
  • Stay informed with curated links to additional ECG resources.

Subscribers

Subscribers are those users that have created an account and have paid to subscribe to The ECG Quiz. In addition to the features provided to Registered Users, Subscribers have access to the following features on the site:

  • Enjoy full access to every ECG in The ECG Quiz library.
  • Choose the ECG types you want to analyze - from 12-lead diagnostic to single-lead telemetry.
  • Opt for your preferred format - digital signals or images.
  • Select the perfect challenge level - simple, moderate, or difficult.
  • Tailor your grading by picking relevant Diagnosis Categories for submitted interpretations.
  • Regrade answers if updated correct responses change after initial submission.
  • Share your progress and results on social media.
  • Archive your results and access them anytime.
  • Track performance trends with comprehensive graphs for active and archived data sets.
  • Create quizzes and share them with peers.
  • Take quizzes crafted by The ECG Quiz Administrators or other users.
  • View results of Public and Shared quizzes, including summaries and individual outcomes.
  • Manage your friend list so only approved users can share quizzes with you.

Organization Members

Organization Members are those users that have created an account on The ECG Quiz site and have joined an Organization that has subscribed to The ECG Quiz. In addition to the features provided to Subscribers, Organization Members have access to the following features on the site:

  • Access quizzes created by your Organization’s Administrators.
  • Review your individual quiz results while summary data remains confidential.

Organization Administrators

Organization Administrators are those users that have created an account, have joined an Organization that has subscribed to The ECG Quiz and have been named an Administrator of that Organization. In addition to the rights provided to Organization Members, Organization Administrators have access to the following features on the site:

  • Manage your Organization’s information and keep team details up to date.
  • Oversee membership, including the ability to promote users to Administrator or remove them from your Organization.
  • Create exclusive quizzes that only Organization Members can take.
  • View detailed results for every quiz created within your Organization.
