Challenge ECG Interpretations

The ECG Quiz aims to ensure that our analyses of the ECGs in the system are as accurate as possible. However, we acknowledge that omissions and mistakes can occur. Therefore, we welcome any challenges to our interpretations. If you disagree with one of our analyses, please feel free to challenge it. We will review all challenges promptly and provide you with feedback on our adjudication process.

You can contest interpretations from any current results or quiz results page. Challenging interpretations from archived results is currently not supported.

On the Interpretation Challenge page, you will be asked to enter two things:

  1. Your Suggested Interpretation - the specific diagnostic statements you think should be active for the ECG
  2. Your Justification - a textual explanation as to why you chose Your Suggested Interpretation

When you enter Your Suggested Interpretation, please select all diagnostic statements that you believe should be included in the interpretation. Your Suggested Interpretation has been prefilled with the diagnostic statements you selected when you analyzed this ECG. Be sure to enter all diagnostic statements that you believe are relevant to this ECG, not just the ones that should change. The Current Must Diagnostic Statements and Current Should Diagnostic Statements areas contain the diagnostic statements that were active when you analyzed this ECG and are included for your reference, as is the Expertise Level at which you were graded.

As you enter Your Justification, please explain why you think Your Suggested Interpretation is applicable to this ECG. Please be as specific and complete as possible. Doing so will better assist us in reviewing your challenge and in making any applicable changes to the system. Also, if you feel strongly that one or more of your diagnostic statements belong in the Must or Should category, please indicate this in Your Justification.
