This page describes the various controls available when viewing image-based 12-lead Diagnostic ECGs.
The toolbar for these ECGs is shown in Figure 1:
The following toolbar buttons toggle the activation of the calipers in the ECG display.
The button toggles the time caliper control activation in the ECG display.
When the time caliper is active, the button changes to an activated state
The button toggles the voltage caliper control activation in the ECG display.
When the voltage caliper is active, the button changes to an activated state
The following toolbar buttons control the display of patient and ECG information.
The button displays patient demographics (age, sex, height, and weight) and clinical history in a popup window if this information is available for the ECG. Use your best clinical judgment when viewing this data as with actual clinical recordings. For example, if the patient's height is 17 inches for a 56-year-old patient, the height measurement was probably transposed from 71 inches. The button will be disabled if demographics and clinical history are not available.
If patient information is not available for the sample, the button will be disabled and appear as follows: .
The button displays data about the ECG, including Ventricular Rate, PR interval, QRS width, and more. These data, if available, are automatically extracted from the ECG and are not guaranteed to be verified. Use your best clinical judgment when viewing this data, as with actual clinical recordings. This button is only available on the Results page.
If ECG information is not available for the sample, the button will be disabled and appear as follows: .
The button enlarges the ECG to fill the current window. To move the zoomed image around, click and drag the image.
Various controls are contained in the Zoom Image Toolbar located at the bottom of the page. The Zoom Image Toolbar looks like .

The zoom window can be closed by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner of the windows. The window can also be closed by pressing the
Esc
key.
There are also keyboard controls available while viewing a zoomed-in ECG. These are as follows:
The following toolbar buttons control the display of help information.
The Tour Button provides additional help on the individual controls on the page via popup windows attached to the individual controls on the page. To view the user interface tour, select from the toolbar and then use the controls in the popups that appear to run through the tour.
The Help Button displays this User Manual page in a popup window. To view this help in a popup window, select from the toolbar.
